Yesterday I typed up a long and detailed journal as to why I posted up that old Baww journal. Well Firefox fucked up and I lost all of that, so I'll give you a condensed version.
I love the holidays really - I do my damnedest every year to have a great memorable time. Unfortunately for me they usually are memorable for the wrong reasons. A few years back I went on a long hiatus from DA after ~Ratros' and my dog was killed on Christmas morning. The last few years have been filled with these sorts of tragedies especially near holidays. Even on Thanksgiving my favorite pet mouse died.
Now this close to Christmas Onions has gone missing. My husband and I searched all night for her and most of the next day with help from my family. It seems in the short time from when Jody saw her when he got home to an hour later when I called for her she simply disappeared. This has happened to cats before and although several of my mom's cats have returned (even after months) all mine that have gone missing have never been seen again. I'm trying to stay hopeful, but just like Gumball and Teats I have a feeling Onions is gone for good. I spent much of the last few days crying my eyes out.
Jody did go out of his way to cheer me up taking me to the mall and even to see The Princess and the frog. Which was a very good movie and the theater was near empty which was nice. Even Jody liked it- he still refuses to watch Avatar though (he "hates futuristic shit" after all).
Getting to the point, I'm sorry for the Baw journal. I just needed to let my frustrations and pain out.I'm still depressed but I'm going to push on anyway and try to enjoy the season anyway. Even with Ghastly destroying my tree...again.
So thanks for he support guys- I mean that.

Some may have already guessed... I was going to make it a huge surprise for Xmas, but that just wasn't realistic. So here's the scoop-
Volume one of the Dani Black shorts will be released in 6x9 paperback in 2010!
I'm aiming for January , but I'm gunna be safe and not make any exact date type comments. The first book will include An Ordinary Night through LMC and include at least one brand new short never before released and other extras. As of now the cover is at the sketch stage and the original shorts are being edited and formatted. The books will be from LULU. I'm not sure exactly how much the books will be at this time, but as of right now the manufacturing cost of 1 book is around ten bucks (goes lower with more books purchased). I hope everyone is just as excited as I am and I hope at least one or two of you might actually buy a copy or get a friend to. I'm not expecting a huge profit from this venture, but it would be nice to break even. So... WHEEEEEE!

If anyone noticed I haven't been on like my normal lifeless self. I managed to get some sort of an ear infection. I woke up with a bit of soreness, but figured I'd probably scratched something in there and it would go away. Went to the fair had a good time ,but toward the end of our trip I started getting twangs of pain. Went home and was worn out so I took a little nap and woke with a steady pain which got worse as the evening wore on. My Mom gave me some pain relievers and some antibiotics. That was Friday. Today I'm having less pain, but my ear has pretty much swollen shut. It's even sore and swollen around my cheek and neck.If it doesn't get better soon I'll have to suck it up and head to a doctor. I've had a lot of ear infections- both when I was a kid and when I was an avid swimmer, but I can't remember a single one where the whole area swelled up like this.
So Sorry for late replies and such. I'm probably going to have to nuke my inbox again once I'm back on regular like.

UPDATE:Although the below is still pretty active I'd like to give you guys an update. An Ordinary Night got a full makeover and is now much better than it was. I gave Werewolf Woes and several of the older stories facelifts and added all new filler shorts to bridge the gaps between the early shorts and patches some plot-holes. Now the Halloween Special previously abandoned in my scraps is on the table getting prepped for surgery. After that I'll take a break from the fix-ups and hit the current storyline and hit it hard! So keep an eye out more is yet to come! I'm still welcoming suggestions though as said below, I may even add more shorts to the older batch eventually. Till then!

Now, I've been thinking about fleshing out the Dani Black shorts to a more stand alone format. To do this I need help from my beloved readers! I'm trying to make an FAQ to aid in my brain storming and just to have one.
New an old readers alike I'm sure have questions about the holes in the early shorts (that the novels are to fill in), but in the meantime what are your biggest questions? What information would have made your early reading experience better?
I really need to know. I want to fill you guys in without just spoiling the first few books completely. So , please any questions no matter how big or small! I'll compile the FAQ then get to filling in the blanks. As added incentive one lucky helper will get a sub. I'll choose at random after a few weeks.
